WADDINGTON CHRISTMAS FAIR: 1-4PM IN THE VILLAGE HALL

The Postmethodists will be participating in the Waddington Christmas fair on Sunday the 29th held in the Village Hall.  We will have dioramas of the two sights and will be inviting people to make their own model public sculpture to place within the dioramas; these will be photographed and uploaded on the website. This is also the perfect time for you to cast your VOTE for your favorite Expression of Interest.

Crab Apple Jelly made from the crab apple tree located on the Waddington Methodist chapel's  land will be for sale along will Yummy's made in from the Wellingore Branch.

Expressions of Interest is currently up in the notice boards,  artists proposals are being added as they come in.  Be sure to have a look and start thinking about which sculpture you'd like to be the winner. Votes can be emailed to info@postmethodists.com deadline is the 14 December, 2009.

Our next exhibition Expressions of Interest will be opening on Monday 12 October and will run through to the end of the year.  

The exhibition will start with the brief and aerial photographs as sent out to 10 artists. Over the next few weeks, as we receive the artists proposals, we will be add them to the notice boards.  Once the artworks are all submitted there will be a public vote which will choose a work that the audience would like to see as the new gateway artworks in both Wellingore and Waddington. The awards ceremony will take place on the 18 December 2009.

B. Noticed is the first exhibition in The Broadcaster project,  will be launched on 11 & 12 July 2009.
